Maria Beatrice Deli is Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Molise.

Maria Beatrice is specialized in international commercial and investment arbitration law and complex litigation, acting as counsel and arbitrator.

As counsel, she spent 15 years in the international department of a major Italian law firm, where she gained an extensive experience with domestic and foreign clients in a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes across a variety of industries.

She was repeatedly designated secretary of arbitral tribunals in complex international cases, and later acted as sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator in various arbitration proceedings, both ad hoc and institutional, also under the ICC Rules of Arbitration with seat in different countries.

In 2011 Maria Beatrice was appointed as Secretary General of the Italian Association for Arbitration (AIA-Associazione Italiana per l’Arbitrato), having the responsibility of the administration of domestic and international cases and taking care of the promotion of the institution in Italy and abroad.

2013 – 2021 She has been Secretary General of ICC Italy.

From April 2016 to March 2021 she was a member of the Council of the Milan Chamber of National and International Arbitration.

Maria Beatrice is Founding member of ArbIt (Italian Forum on International Arbitration and ADR).
