Guia Viligiardi specializes in civil, commercial and corporate law, representing both domestic and foreign clients in complex disputes and assisting them on a variety of civil and commercial law matters.

Guia has gained extensive experience in commercial disputes and in cases concerning civil liability for criminal offenses, directors’ and officers’ liability, government liability and environmental law.

Among a variety of industries, she has a recognized expertise in disputes in the energy sector.

For over 15 years, Guia worked at a nationally recognized law firm in Milan where she acted as counsel in some of the largest cases before Italian Courts.

Guia has been of Counsel at D|R Arbitration & Litigation since the firm’s foundation.

  • Advising a major Italian oil and gas company in multiple commercial litigations arising out of energy supply agreements.
  • Advising and representing a foreign company before the Italian Corte di Cassazione in a dispute concerning unfair competition.
  • Advising and representing an Italian company in a dispute arisen out of a stock purchase agreement.
  • Advising and representing an Italian fashion company in various real estate litigations..
  • Advising and representing a major Italian company in seeking compensation for damages caused by its managers’ accounting liability.
  • Advising and representing several Italian journalists against defamation press charges.
  • Advising and representing an Italian publishing company in multiple corporate disputes.
  • Advising an Italian photovoltaic producer in disputes arising out of supply agreements for silicon.
  • Advising a major Italian holding company in the largest litigation case in Italian history (known as “Lodo Mondadori”) arising out of the sale of a leading Italian publishing company.
