Our partner Giacomo Rojas Elgueta is co-editing with James Hosking and Yasmine Lahlou a research project on whether a “right to a physical hearing” exists in international arbitration, to be conducted in collaboration with ICCA.
The project aims at addressing key conceptual issues raised by the COVID-related surge in remote hearings and collecting national reports from various member states of the New York Convention. A call for expressions of interest to become a national reporter has been published on ICCA’s website.
Read more about the project and find the call for contributions on ICCA’s website: https://www.arbitration-icca.org/projects/Right_to_a_Hearing_in_International_Arbitration.html
